Peter Rissetto, AIA
President

Peter Rissetto received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mr. Rissetto is a member of the New York Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the New York Society of Architects (NYSA).  He is licensed to practice architecture in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.  Peter has worked as an architect and a facilities project manager for over 20 years.

 

 

 

 


 

Sharon Rader
Senior Architect

 

Sharon has been with MK Architecture for 3 years and obtained her Architectural License shortly before beginning with MKA.  She has 15 years of experience in the architecture field, many of which have been spent creating DOB and Construction Document drawings for a variety of worktypes. For the past five years, she has been focused on code, zoning and landmarks consulting for in-house projects and architect clients. She is also skilled in expediting work with a specialization in obtaining Certificate of Occupancies. In addition she has completed many projects getting Solar Arrays on NYC's rooftops.

 

 


 

Jeff Charles-Pierre
Project Manager

 

Mr. Charles-Pierre  brings two decades of experience to MK Architecture with a variety of work experience including zoning & building code consulting, project management, and construction administration.  He adds leadership, and a new eye to the firm’s depth in building code, zoning strategies and construction administration services.   Mr. Charles-Pierre maintains direct communication with the clients and design team throughout, and his experience with front-end coordination, municipal filings, and construction administration makes him a great multi-faceted asset to our team.

 

 


 

Dominika Tyburczy, AIA
Project Manager

Dominika brings over 14 years of project management experience in all stages, from conceptual design through the construction process, including code review and zoning. Her projects have included several pharmacies, restaurants, professional offices and many residential buildings located in New York City. The biggest project she managed was a 57000 square feet 10 story mixed-use building location in Brooklyn. She graduated with a Masters in Architecture from Gdansk University of Technology in Poland, and her international education and language knowledge helps in communicating with diverse clients.

  

 


 

Rita Nepogoda-Soto
Project Coordinator

Rita Nepogoda-Soto is MK Architecture’s Project Coordinator, and has been an associate at MKA since 2003. Rita started as a receptionist, and moved quickly into becoming an integral part of the expediting department. Today, she manages MKA’s entire expediting division, while supervising a number of projects, and coordinating jobs between MKA’s Project Managers, and the firms’ Architectural clients. Rita is the liaison with all the general contractors that MKA works with, specializing in DOB and DOT permits as well as insurance renewals. Her expertise has also led to her taking over all violation work at MKA.

 

  


 

Justin Cho
Designer

Justin graduated with a Master's degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute in 2013.  He currently manages Alteration Type II filings and provides drafting, field measuring and site inspection services across the MK Architecture's projects.  As a certified filing representative, Justin also contributes to expediting tasks at the DOB to help achieve our client's goals.

 

 

 

 


 

Rosemary Schwartzberg
Office Manager

Rosemary is the Office Manager for MK Architecture.  She has been with the company since 2009, and she graduated with her M.B.A. in 2013.  Rosemary handles all of the firm's contracts, project activation, and assists project managers in various research tasks.  Rosemary handles the firms' billing, serves as a liaison for client relations, manages vendor contracts, and oversees all administrative tasks throughout the office.
